Bolnore Village Primary School

SEND

Our staff are dedicated to meeting the needs of every child, whether physical, educational, emotional, or behavioral.  We are committed to identifying and supporting Special Educational Needs as early as possible. Our SENCO collaborates with parents, teachers, support staff, and professionals to create tailored programmes for children who need additional help, ensuring they receive the right resources and support.

Accessible for All
Our school is fully accessible, housed in a two-storey building with wheelchair access, including lift, wide corridors and doorways, and disabled toilet facilities. We strive to make our learning environment accessible and welcoming to all. We liaise closely with EMTAS to provide translations and translators where needed.

Mindful

As an NHS-supported Thoughtful School, we place a strong emphasis on the mental health and wellbeing of our children. We have two trained mental health leaders and a dedicated play therapist who provide vital support to children facing traumatic events. Our SENCO Assistant works closely with families, providing early help and collaborating with parents, outside agencies, and Family Support Workers. This ensures that when families are in need, there is a comprehensive team in place to help and guidance.

At Bolnore, we aim to create a school community where every child thrives, and every need is met with care and attention.
