Welcome
Bolnore Village Primary School is a welcoming, nurturing and happy school in the heart of its community.
Bolnore Village Primary School is a warm, nurturing, and vibrant community. Situated in the heart of Bolnore Village, our school is proud to serve an ever-growing and dynamic population. Surrounded by beautiful, ancient woodland within a local nature reserve, we provide a unique and inspiring learning environment for our children.
As the first parent-promoted foundation primary school in England, we are built on a rich heritage of innovation and independence. Our school motto, chosen by the founding parents and inspired by a West African proverb, lies at the core of our ethos: "It takes a village to raise a child." This reflects our deep commitment to our community, with children at its heart. Now, as part of the Hurst Education Trust, our school community continues to flourish, fostering a strong sense of belonging. We strive for excellence in all that we do, so our pupils can achieve their "Bolnore Brilliant Best."
At Bolnore, we believe education extends far beyond academic achievement. While our pupils excel in building knowledge, skills, and understanding across the full curriculum, we are equally committed to nurturing personal development. Our dedicated and passionate staff work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure that every child receives a well-rounded education that prepares them for a successful and fulfilling future.
If you would like to learn more about our school, we warmly invite you to arrange a visit through our school office. We look forward to welcoming you and offering you the chance to experience the special ethos that makes Bolnore Village Primary School such a unique and thriving community.
We value the support of the whole community:
The parents, the Governors, our local businesses and the 'SALT' group of local schools who all work together for the sake of our community children because we believe ‘It takes a village to raise a child’.
Please note that paper copies of the information on the school's website can be provided free of charge if requested.
